Our Work

Our Work

For over 30 years we’ve been entrusted to launch, re-launch and market some of the world’s biggest global phrama consumer brands. We’re proud of our success in helping to make them market leaders in New Zealand.

Innovation Partners

We’re working with some of New Zealand’s most innovative pharmacy healthcare consumer brands as they strive to become the global market leaders of tomorrow. Take a look at some of our success stories below:

Mito Q

When Otago University Cell Biologist Dr Mike Murphy and Chemistry Professor Robin Smith got together to work on a project, they made a discovery that is now known as a world first for anti-aging skin care. Mito Q slows the damage aging causes by allowing cells to act like they did when they were younger. They chose Pharmabroker to take their ground breaking product to market. MitoQ is now a globally recognised brand with incredibly exciting prospects for the future.

The active ingredient found in Epiology Skincare’s anti-acne cream and spot gel is derived from an unlikely source, New Zealand cow’s milk. Epiology’s Skincare products are clinically proven to prevent bacteria, minimise irritation and reduce redness associated with acne.

Pharmabroker have provided sales and distribution for Epiology leading to their presence in 75% of pharmacies nationwide including all Unichem and Life Pharmacies. Epiology is also performing well overseas in Mexico, Australia, United Kingdom and United States.

In 1998 we partnered with world renowned microbiologist Professor Tag from the University of Otago in New Zealand. Professor Tag’s groundbreaking research led to the discovery of S. salivarius BLIS K12, a revolutionary ORAL probiotic that prevents infection (including strep throat) where it begins – in your mouth.

BLIS K12 is now available in 13 countries throughout the world and has obtained the much sort after United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) GRAS (generally recognised as safe) status.

Gran’s Remedy

We’ve helped take Grans Remedy from a Dunedin kitchen to a nationwide roll out and on to becoming a globally recognised brand.

Gran’s Remedy originated in the 1980’s as a result of a conversation overheard by a Dunedin grandmother about smelly feet. Wayne Nicholson had been suffering from embarrassing foot odour, his grandmother and a friend got together and produced an old concoction that proved extremely effective in eliminating the odour. In fact, independent research has proven Gran’s Remedy to be 100% effective.

After partnering with Pharmabroker, Gran’s Remedy has become the market leader in New Zealand in its category for many years with retail sales exceeding $1 million (NZ) p.a. Grans Remedy also now exports to countries such as Australia, Japan, Korea, UK, USA, Asia & Europe with distribution of over 1.5 million units of it’s famous Powder variants.
